Welcome

They are both dynamic performers and entertainers - Jeanne & Jerome provide exquisite harmonies, top-notch musicianship, on-stage fun, and unique stylings to a wide variety of lively tunes, pop standards, early rock ‘n’ roll and western swing.

They may throw in a classic country number or two, if the crowd wants it, and Jerome could sprinkle in a little cowboy poetry.  Their favorite music, though is their continually developing original material - a diverse offering of instrumental and vocal songs covering a variety of topics.

Jeanne & Jerome have performed together for twenty-two years.  Several of those, they have been know as Call of the West, and have played western music festivals around the country, and the world.  Although they have deep roots in the western music  genre, they are also very adept at may other styles.  Besides both singing lead and harmony vocals, they possess formidable instrumental skills.

Jerome is the 2006 Merle Travis National Thumb-picking Champion, Jeanne is the 2008 Western Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year.  She was also nominated for the 2008 Western Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year, and they were both nominated for 2008 WMA Duo/Group of the Year.    Jeanne was a finalist again in 2009, 2010 and both Jeanne & Jerome were nominated in 2011 for Instrumentalist of the Year.

Jeanne & Jerome have performed together for twenty years, and will play a variety of instruments, including: guitars, mandolin, steel guitar, concertina, and harmonica.  (No pre-recorded tracks for their show - they play all their instruments live on stage!)

Jeanne and Jerome regularly appear at western music festivals, acoustic live music events of all kinds, community get-togethers, schools, libraries, RV resorts and rallies across the U.S. and abroad.  They have been featured on RFD-TV’s “Midwest Country Theater” and “Best of America by Horseback”, and have also worked as harmony singers and backup musicians for a number of western and country performers, including legendary country music star Lynn Anderson - when she performs at western music festivals.  Jeanne & Jerome also produce recordings for a variety of artists as well.

Their own recording projects include three duo albums, two classic country albums with their good friends, Tex & Mary Schutz, two solo original music albums by Jeanne, a gospel album and a solo thumb-picking album by Jerome.  They are currently working on a new project together, and another solo steel guitar instrumental project by Jeanne.   They are members of the Oklahoma Arts Council and Mid-America Arts Alliance touring rosters, and travel the country and the world, entertaining and teaching youngsters of all ages with their music.
